The Florachic is a floral design studio founded in 2015 by Yuan in San Francisco Bay Area. Rooted in seasonality and guided by intuition, the studio approaches florals as a living medium , one that responds to space, time, and emotion rather than trend.

Before flowers, Yuan worked within digital media and photography. That background shaped the way she sees: through composition, light, and narrative. Florals became the place where all of this finally made sense. Each design is considered as part of a larger visual language, composed quietly and intentionally, with attention to balance, movement, and restraint.

We work primarily with seasonal, botanical-inspired materials, allowing what is available and fleeting to lead the design. Some ideas arrive fully formed. Others reveal themselves slowly. What remains constant is a resistance to repetition. No design is replicated. No wedding is treated as a formula.

We are family-operated studio built on ongoing creative dialogue. Co-founder Zack brings a foundation in drawing and fine art, with a deep sensitivity to material and structure. His understanding of form, mechanics, and 3D construction informs how ideas are supported, scaled, and realized from the unseen framework to the final spatial composition.

Each project is approached as its own ecosystem.
